‘Friends of RajSakhi’ Social Media Influencers Workshop Held

The Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (Rajeevika) organized the ‘Friends of RajSakhi’ Social Media Influencers Workshop on Friday at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur. The workshop was chaired by Mr. Ashutosh A.T. Pednekar, State Mission Director of Rajeevika and Principal Secretary of the Rural Development Department.

The event witnessed the participation of around 160 social media influencers from across the state. Mr. Pednekar highlighted that the synergy between RajSakhi and social media could offer a new platform for women’s empowerment in the realm of community service. He emphasized the importance of using social media to extend the reach of RajSakhi and Rajeevika to every village in Rajasthan.

Mr. Pednekar shared that RajSakhi women produce high-quality goods worth approximately ₹15,000 crore annually. He noted that influencers, through their active participation, can bring transformative changes to the lives of rural women. He assured the influencers of complete support from the department in promoting Rajeevika’s initiatives.

Influencers from all districts pledged their active involvement in promoting Rajeevika and committed to regularly showcasing RajSakhi products on social media platforms to amplify their reach.

The workshop was attended by key officials, including Project Director (Administration) Mr. Ajay Kumar Arya, State Project Manager (Administration) Ms. Meena Neeru Tulsiram, and Rajeevika Social Media Team Head Ms. Neeru Naruka, along with other Rajeevika officers.
