Constitution Instills Pride and Awareness of Our Rights and Duties : Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that today, the spirit of patriotism and pride for the nation is becoming stronger in the hearts of the people. This has been made possible under the leadership qualities of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Today, India’s prestige and reputation are growing globally. On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day, he paid humble tributes to the freedom fighters and all martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence. He also expressed gratitude towards the constitution-makers. He emphasized that our Constitution instills pride and self-respect, while also making us aware of our rights and duties.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav mentioned that the all-round development of the state within one year and the public-centric works carried out with people’s cooperation have established Madhya Pradesh as a developing state. This achievement is credited to the approximately 8.5 crore citizens of the state, who have been the architects of this recognition. He stated that the journey of a developed Madhya Pradesh for a developed India, as envisioned by Prime Minister Modi, is ongoing.
Through Constitution Day, our nation celebrates the glory of the Constitution as a festival. The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm, zeal, and patriotism. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav hoisted the flag with fervor and inspected the parade at Nehru Stadium in Indore. Various government departments displayed attractive and mesmerizing tableaux. School children presented colorful cultural programs. On this auspicious occasion of the 76th Republic Day, Dr. Yadav extended heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to everyone. The Chief Minister also honored freedom fighters with shawls and mementos.
Nineteen Platoons Presented an Impressive Parade amidst Unprecedented Enthusiasm
The 76th Republic Day celebration witnessed an atmosphere filled with patriotism and unprecedented enthusiasm. Nineteen platoons presented an impressive parade during the ceremony. After hoisting the National Flag, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inspected the entire parade in an open jeep and interacted with the parade commanders. During the parade, the armed forces performed celebratory firing. The open sky was adorned with the three colors of the national flag. The parade was led by Parade Commander IPS Shri Aditya Singharia. The BSF band filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism by playing national tunes.
Eighteen Departments Presented Mesmerizing Tableaux
Government departments showcased enchanting tableaux based on the state government’s schemes and programs during the Republic Day celebration. Notably, Indore Municipal Corporation highlighted the “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle” approach under the Swachh Bharat Mission to reduce carbon emissions. Other participants included Khajrana Ganesh Temple, the Education Department, Agriculture Department, District Panchayat Indore, Health Department, Traffic Department, Police Department, Metro Rail, Industrial Development Corporation, Central Jail, District Trade and Industry Center, Women and Child Development Department, Forest Department, Indore Development Authority, ITI, and the Horticulture Department, displaying the benefits of various government schemes.
Colorful Cultural Programs Presented
During the Republic Day celebration, children from three schools presented cultural programs based on nationalism, patriotism, unity, and harmony. Girls from CM Rise School Ahilya Ashram No. 02 performed a vibrant act imbued with patriotism and national songs. Children from Maa Umiya Devi Patidar Kanya School, Rau, showcased enchanting performances of folk dances and songs from various states. Delhi Public School students presented vibrant acts infused with patriotism, courage, and national spirit.
Awards Presented to Outstanding Performers
Platoons presenting excellent parades were awarded during the ceremony. In the “A” category, the first prize was given to the 15th Battalion Special Armed Forces, and the second prize was awarded to the Border Security Force. In the “B” category, the first prize went to NCC, and the second prize to the District Traffic Police Force. In the “C” category, the first prize was awarded to Srijan and the second to the Red Cross. For cultural programs, Delhi Public School secured the first position, Maa Umiya Devi Patidar Kanya School, Rau, the second, and Ahilya Ashram No. 02 the third. Similarly, in tableaux, the first prize went to the Municipal Corporation, the second to the Industrial Development Corporation, and the third to the Central Jail.
Special recognition was given to officers, employees, NGOs, cleanliness workers, and others who performed excellently throughout the year.
The ceremony was attended by MP Shri Shankar Lalwani, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargava, MLAs Shri Madhu Verma, Shri Golu Shukla, Shri Gaurav Randive, District Panchayat President Smt. Reena Malviya, Divisional Commissioner Shri Deepak Singh, IG Shri Anurag, along with a large number of government officials, public representatives, and school children.
