Flowers were showered from helicopters on all the ghats and akharas on Amrit Snan festival

Mahakumbh Nagar : During the second Amrit Snan of Mahakumbh 2025 on Mauni Amavasya, the Yogi government orchestrated a flower shower of rose petals from helicopters over the sadhus, saints, Nagas, and devotees gathered at the Sangam bank for the sacred dip on Wednesday.

The aerial floral offering covered all ghats and akhadas, creating a mesmerizing spectacle. As rose petals rained down, the devotees chanted “Jai Shri Ram” and “Har Har Mahadev.” The Horticulture Department arranged 25 quintals of rose petals for the event.
