New Delhi – A devastating mid-air collision near Ronald Reagan National Airport involving an American Airlines passenger jet and a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter has left no known survivors, officials confirmed. Pentagon official Pete Hegseth confirmed that the Black Hawk crew consisted of experienced pilots conducting a mandatory night training exercise using night vision goggles. The Department of Defense has launched an internal review to determine whether a flight path error or miscommunication with air traffic control contributed to the disaster.
