CM Yogi assures financial aid to those seeking help for treatments of serious ailments at Janata Darshan

Gorakhpur : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during the Janata Darshan program held in Mahant Digvijayanath Smriti Bhavan auditorium, Gorakhnath Temple Complex, on Saturday, assured people seeking financial aid for serious illnesses not to worry about medical expenses, as the government would cover necessary costs for their treatment.

He urged them to avail treatment at the best hospitals without any hesitation, assuring that the government would cover all necessary costs to ensure their proper healthcare.

The CM instructed officials to quickly process the cost estimates for those needing financial help for medical treatment and submit them to the government. “Adequate assistance amount will be provided to every needy from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund,” he said.

CM Yogi arrived in Gorakhpur on Friday evening and stayed overnight at Gorakhnath Temple. On Saturday morning, he met around 100 people during the Janata Darshan, listening to each person’s concerns attentively. He also directed officials to take prompt action on the issues raised.

He assured everyone that there was no need to worry, as every problem would be addressed. He instructed officials to handle public grievances with seriousness and sensitivity, ensuring prompt, high-quality, and satisfactory resolutions so that no one faces difficulties.

He instructed officials to adopt a compassionate approach in dealing with distressed individuals and warned against any negligence in addressing their issues.

The Chief Minister also directed strict legal action against land encroachments and illegal activities. In cases of family disputes, he advised officials to prioritize mediation by bringing both parties together for discussion and resolution.

As in previous Janata Darshan programs, several people sought financial assistance for the treatment of serious illnesses. The CM reassured them that his government would not let a lack of funds hinder anyone’s medical care. He assured that support would be provided through the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

During this, a woman requested financial help for her relative’s treatment at AIIMS, New Delhi. Offering her emotional support, CM Yogi instructed her to obtain an estimate for the treatment and assured, “There is no need to worry; the government will cover the medical expenses.”

In a heartwarming moment, the CM also interacted with children accompanying their families, showering them with affection and gifting them chocolates as a blessing.
