Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar Inaugurates Firefighting Vehicle
Baramati : As part of the Maharashtra Fire Safety Campaign, a newly acquired state-of-the-art firefighting vehicle was inaugurated at the Municipal Council by Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar.
The event was attended by Sub-Divisional Officer Vaibhav Navadkar, Regional Officer of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) Hanumant Patil, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Dr. Sudarshan Rathod, Tahsildar Ganesh Shinde, Municipal Chief Officer Mahesh Rokde, Chairman of Baramati Cooperative Bank Sachin Satav, and other dignitaries.
This advanced firefighting vehicle has a 5,000-liter water tank, with the capability to spray water up to eight stories high and reach a distance of 45 meters in a straight line. It also features a 500-liter foam tank, two 20 kg DCP cylinders, and a 22.5 kg carbon dioxide (CO₂) cylinder. The vehicle is equipped with a 360-degree CCTV camera, WiFi, and a high-definition video system.
According to Chief Officer Mahesh Rokde, this cutting-edge vehicle will be used to extinguish Class A, B, and C fires, significantly enhancing firefighting capabilities in the region.
