District Jamboree Begins with a Grand Opening at Govindpura Ropara

• Organized under the theme ‘Empowered Youth – Developed India’
• District-level Scout-Guide Competition Rally to continue till February 18

Jaipur : The District Jamboree kicked off with a grand and colorful opening on Friday at Govindpura Ropara, located on Goner Road, Jaipur. The district-level Scout-Guide Competition Rally, organized under the aegis of the Rajasthan State Bharat Scouts & Guides Divisional Headquarters, was inaugurated by State Secretary Dr. P.C. Jain.

According to C.O. Scout Sharad Kumar Sharma, the six-day residential rally, running until February 18, has witnessed participation from around 2,257 scouts and guides representing 20 local units of Jaipur district. C.O. Guide Ritu Sharma informed that following the inaugural ceremony, various competitions such as first aid, petrol pioneering, tent pitching, and estimation were conducted.

The key events scheduled for the rally include:

• February 16 (Sunday): Tableau presentation
• February 17 (Monday): Grand Campfire & Closing Ceremony
• February 18 (Tuesday): Interfaith Prayer Meeting

The inaugural ceremony of the rally was attended by several dignitaries, including State Scout Organization Commissioner Puran Singh Shekhawat, Assistant State Organization Commissioner (Scout) Damodar Prasad Sharma, Assistant State Organization Commissioner (Guide) Neeta Sharma, along with public representatives and trade association members.
