Review Meeting on Development of Bharatpur & Deeg: CM Bhajanlal Sharma Stresses Continuous Monitoring

Jaipur – Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the Rajasthan government’s commitment to the holistic development of Bharatpur and Deeg districts through a structured roadmap. He directed officials to ensure the timely completion of infrastructure projects with top-quality standards, considering the region’s geographical, historical, and cultural significance.

During a review meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, he instructed departments such as roads, energy, water, education, healthcare, industry, urban governance, tourism, and forestry to continuously monitor development projects that enhance public welfare.

Strengthening Road Infrastructure for Better Connectivity

CM Sharma directed the Public Works Department to develop a robust road network in Bharatpur and Deeg for seamless transportation. He also urged the Water Resources Department to conduct regular maintenance of decades-old canals, dams, and reservoirs to benefit both the public and farmers.

Ensuring Quality Infrastructure and Essential Services

The Energy Department was instructed to complete ongoing projects to ensure an uninterrupted power supply. The Urban Administration Department was tasked with improving roads, electricity, water, sanitation, and sewage systems with strict quality control and regular monitoring. The Health Department was directed to enhance medical facilities in both districts by providing necessary resources.

Boosting Tourism and Heritage Conservation

CM Sharma urged the Tourism Department to focus on the beautification of cultural and historical sites in Bharatpur and Deeg. Additionally, he instructed the Devasthan Department to create a structured plan for the upkeep of Bharatpur’s ancient temples.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including Additional Chief Secretary for Water Resources Abhay Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary for Forest and Environment Aparna Arora, Additional Chief Secretary (CM Office) Shikhar Agarwal, Additional Chief Secretary for Public Works Praveen Gupta, Principal Secretary for Industries Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary (CM Office) Alok Gupta, Principal Secretary for Revenue Dinesh Kumar, Principal Secretary for Urban Administration Rajesh Yadav, Principal Secretary for Health and Medical Services Gayatri Rathore, Principal Secretary for Urban Development Vaibhav Galaria, District Collector Bharatpur Dr. Amit Yadav, and District Collector Deeg Utsav Kaushal.
