₹3 Crore Sanctioned for Ajmer Ring Road DPR – Shri Devanani
Assembly Speaker Inaugurates ₹1.80 Crore Overhead Water Reservoir Project in Ratidang
Jaipur : Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devanani stated that Rajasthan’s budget is a budget of the people’s aspirations, focusing on the needs of every section of society. Ajmer’s development has been prioritized in the budget, with plans for a ring road around the city to be implemented soon. A provision of ₹3 crore has been allocated for the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR). The ring road will not only reduce heavy traffic congestion in the city but also boost tourism and industrial development. Similarly, other development projects will also bring relief to the people.
On Saturday, Shri Vasudev Devanani inaugurated the construction of a ₹1.80 crore overhead water reservoir near Kalpavriksha in Ratidang. He mentioned that this project will benefit around 50,000 residents of Ratidang Eidgah First & Second, Kisan Colony, Aravali Vihar, and surrounding areas. The region has long faced issues with low water pressure, but with this reservoir, residents will have access to high-pressure drinking water. The project is expected to be completed by December 2025. Additionally, the construction of this reservoir will enable water supply integration across four zones, reducing the current 48-hour supply interval significantly.
Ajmer’s Ring Road and Multipurpose Stadium to Drive Development
Addressing the gathering, Shri Devanani emphasized that continuous efforts have resulted in major budget allocations for Ajmer, including the ring road and a multipurpose stadium. These initiatives will accelerate the city’s development, reduce heavy vehicle congestion, and provide a dedicated venue for sports, religious, cultural, and social events.
He mentioned that officials have been actively working on the ring road proposal and that a request was made to Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma for its approval. Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, in her budget reply, announced ₹3 crore for the DPR preparation, and the plan will soon be finalized. Once completed, the ring road will restrict the entry of heavy vehicles, enhancing tourism and industrial growth.
Furthermore, the multipurpose stadium was another long-awaited demand of the city, providing a dedicated space for various events. Alongside these, several other significant projects have also been announced for Ajmer in the budget.
