Lord Krishna preaches love for nature, respect for culture and the importance of friendship: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, said that the teachings of Lord Krishna teach us love for nature, respect for village culture, and the importance of friendship. He highlighted that Lord Krishna’s act of adorning a peacock feather amidst gold and jewels in the royal court symbolizes deep respect for nature. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also pointed out that Krishna’s unwavering bond with Sudama teaches the value of true friendship and commitment. Through various episodes of Krishna’s life, the Chief Minister said, one can learn practical wisdom. Chief Minister Dr Yadav was addressing the gathering after the Bhoomi Pujan of Shri Shri Radha Govind Temple being constructed by ISKCON near Manasarovar Dental College in Kolar Road.
On this occasion, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Madhya Pradesh head of ISKCON Guru Prasad Swami Maharaj and secretary Shri Mahaman Prabhu were present. It was told in the programme that this would be the biggest ISKCON temple in Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav praised the initiative of establishing the ISKCON temple in the area, stating that temple construction paves the way for happiness, prosperity,and the welfare of the people. He announced that the road connecting Kolar Road to the ISKCON temple will be named Prabhupad Marg. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav emphasized that the presence of Lord Shri Ram and Lord Shri Krishna can be felt in every direction of India, and for centuries, India has been revered as the land of these divine incarnations. He highlighted that temple construction serves as a medium to manifest Bhagavad Bhava. Expressing optimism, he stated that following the Bhoomi Pujan, the auspicious occasion of Lord Shri Krishna’s manifestation in the temple and its grand inauguration will take place soon.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav appreciated the contribution of Prabhupada in spreading Indian cultural values and the Satvik life system in the world. He said that in line with these thoughts, the state government is working towards prohibition; that is why the system of prohibition of liquor has been implemented in 17 places in the state. In collaboration with the National Dairy Development Board in the state, the implementation of the action plan to take milk production from 9 percent to 20 percent is going on. This effort is being made to return to our original culture. This will help in increasing the income of farmers through farming and animal husbandry and improving the health of people through the nutrition of milk.
