File Sedition Case Against Abu Azmi: Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Demands in Both Houses

Mumbai : Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has strongly condemned Assembly member Abu Azmi for praising Aurangzeb, the murderer of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Shinde demanded that a sedition case be filed against Azmi in both the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council.

In his statement to both Houses, Shinde paid tribute to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his bravery. He criticized individuals like Abu Azmi, stating that while they reside in India, they have no regard for the nation’s history and culture. “The world knows what kind of ruler Aurangzeb was. We strongly denounce those who glorify him. Our history is one of valor and heroism. Sambhaji Maharaj was a great warrior and an exceptional administrator. Instead of distorting history, Abu Azmi should learn the true legacy of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj,” Shinde asserted.
