North Bastar Kanker: Women Agripreneurs Honored

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (Agriculture Science Center) and the Farmer Welfare Department, Kanker, organized a Farmer Symposium, where women agripreneurs were honored for their contributions.

The felicitation ceremony was held in the presence of Janpad Panchayat Kanker President Smt. Purnima Kawde and Vice President Smt. Kiran Thakur as chief guests. Around 102 farmers from Kanker and Charama development blocks participated in the event.

On this occasion, women self-help groups (SHGs) shared their experiences and achievements. Additionally, they engaged in discussions and received technical guidance to further enhance their agricultural ventures.
