Chief Minister Attends Phagotsav at Shri Galta Ji Tirtha, Calls Holi a Festival of Joy and Enthusiasm
Jaipur : Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma stated that the month of Phalguna fills every individual with joy and excitement, as people immerse themselves in the vibrant colors of Holi. He emphasized that the Phagotsav at Shri Galta Ji Tirtha is a special celebration and reflects the state government’s commitment to the development and preservation of religious heritage sites.
The Chief Minister addressed devotees at the Braj-Avadh Phagotsav held at Shri Galta Ji Tirtha on Monday. He highlighted the historical and religious significance of the site, describing it as a place of divine grandeur. He mentioned that it is widely believed that bathing in the sacred kunds at the site fulfills devotees’ wishes. The presence of temples dedicated to Lord Rama, Lord Krishna, and Lord Hanuman at Shri Galta Ji creates a unique spiritual atmosphere, evoking the essence of both Avadhpuri and Braj.
CM Sharma also acknowledged the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in preserving India’s glorious heritage alongside national development. He affirmed that the state government remains committed to the development and conservation of religiously significant sites.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister offered prayers at Sitaram Ji Temple and Gyan Gopal Ji Temple and participated in Gau Seva (service to cows). He also listened to devotional songs and took part in the Deep Maha Aarti. Several dignitaries, including public representatives, Devasthan Secretary Dr. Krishna Kant Pathak, District Collector Jitendra Soni, and senior district officials, were present at the event.
