Emergency Medical Services to Remain Operational 24/7 at Ambedkar Hospital on Holi

Special Directives Issued for Medical Staff, Tightened Security Measures

Raipur : Under the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai and the directives of Health Minister Shyambihari Jaiswal, special arrangements have been made to ensure uninterrupted medical services at Ambedkar Hospital during the Holi festival. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Santosh Sonkar has instructed doctors, nursing staff, paramedics, and other relevant departments to remain on high alert.

In anticipation of accidents and medical emergencies during Holi, emergency medical services will remain operational round-the-clock. As March 14 is a public holiday, the OPD (Outpatient Department) will remain closed, but emergency services will continue 24/7 as usual.

Special Arrangements for Emergency Medical Services

To ensure prompt medical care, emergency wards have been stocked with life-saving drugs and essential medical supplies. Medical personnel have been instructed to remain on high alert, ensuring immediate response to any critical situation. Doctors and paramedics are on standby for emergency duty, and the trauma and emergency units have been strengthened to provide timely and efficient treatment to patients.

Enhanced Security Measures

To prevent any untoward incidents within the hospital premises, security guards and armed personnel have been deployed. The security supervisor has been directed to maintain strict vigilance, and security personnel have been instructed to increase their patrolling. Additionally, coordination with local police has been established to ensure law and order in case of any emergency.

24/7 Ambulance Service to DKS Hospital

For critically ill patients requiring advanced medical care, a 24-hour ambulance service will be operational between Ambedkar Hospital and DKS Hospital’s Super Specialty Department to ensure swift and seamless patient transfers.

The hospital administration has urged all citizens to celebrate Holi responsibly and to avail emergency medical services without panic in case of any unforeseen medical situation.
