Ayodhya : The deep-rooted historical bond between Ayodhya and South Korea came alive once again as a 78-member delegation, including representatives of South Korea’s Gaya Kingdom, arrived in Ayodhya on Thursday. The distinguished guests first visited the Queen Heo Memorial Park at Naya Ghat, paying homage to their cultural heritage at the memorial built two and a half years ago. They later visited the grand Shri Ram Temple for prayers and witnessed the divine aarti on the banks of the sacred Sarayu River.

Impressed by Ayodhya’s transformation and well-organized arrangements, the delegation highly praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. As dusk settled, the mesmerizing laser show left the visitors spellbound, followed by a breathtaking performance of traditional dance by eight artists, captivating the audience. The delegation also met with Shri Yatindra Mishra, a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, and later enjoyed a dinner gathering.
Guests to Celebrate Holi in Traditional Colors
On Friday, the delegation will take part in Holi celebrations using natural colors, symbolizing the cultural harmony between India and South Korea. Later in the afternoon, they will bid farewell to Ayodhya, carrying cherished memories of strengthened friendship between the two nations.

The bond between Ayodhya and South Korea is deeply rooted in history. According to Dr. Ashish, this long-standing cultural and historical connection has been significant. This visit not only reinforces that bond but also serves as a testament to the confluence of two great civilizations. The South Korean delegation’s visit to Ayodhya once again proves that relationships bound by love, tradition, and history transcend time and borders.
