CM Devendra Fadnavis Inaugurates ‘Navsakhi Saras Mahotsav’
Exhibition Open Daily from 10 AM to 10 PM Until March 26
Nagpur : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated the district-level ‘Navsakhi Saras Mahotsav’ today at the South Central Cultural Centre. The event has been organized under the Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission through the District Rural Development Agency and the Zilla Parishad.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Revenue Minister & Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Minister of State for Finance Ashish Jaiswal, Divisional Commissioner Vijayalakshmi Bidari, District Collector Dr. Vipin Itankar, and Zilla Parishad CEO Vinayak Mahamuni, among others.
The Navsakhi Saras Mahotsav features 100 stalls, showcasing products and crafts by rural women entrepreneurs. CM Fadnavis visited the stalls and interacted with the women entrepreneurs. The exhibition will remain open daily from 10 AM to 10 PM until March 26.
The initiative aims to uplift rural women and promote their overall development by providing them with direct market access. The district administration, aligned with the government’s vision, seeks to empower women through such exhibitions, ensuring better livelihoods and economic opportunities for them.
