Strict Monitoring on Budget Implementation: No Delays or Negligence to Be Tolerated – Director, Social Justice & Empowerment Department
Jaipur – The Director and Special Secretary of the Social Justice & Empowerment Department, Mr. Bachnesh Agrawal, emphasized that any negligence or delay in implementing budget announcements will not be tolerated. The state government’s top priority is to bring budget commitments to the ground, and officials must adopt micro-planning to ensure timely execution.
Following the directives of Social Justice & Empowerment Minister Avinash Gehlot, Mr. Agrawal held a video conference (VC) meeting with district-level officials from the conference hall at Ambedkar Bhawan headquarters. During the session, he reviewed the progress of various schemes, provided necessary guidelines, and motivated underperforming districts to improve their execution.
Completion of Previous Budget Announcements Prioritized
Mr. Agrawal instructed officials to first complete the pending budget announcements from the previous year before proceeding with the 2025-26 budget implementation. He directed them to expedite land identification and allocation activities as per the requirements of the new announcements, ensuring timeliness, quality, and efficiency in project execution.
Review of Key Welfare Schemes
The meeting also included a detailed review of various welfare programs, including:
- Baba Saheb Ambedkar Model Village Scheme
- Swayamsiddha Ashram (for homeless elderly and destitute individuals)
- Devnarayan Residential Scheme
- Working Women’s Housing Scheme
- Dadu Dayal Nomadic Empowerment Scheme (for the upliftment of nomadic and semi-nomadic communities)
- One-Time Settlement (OTS) Scheme for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, sanitation workers, and differently-abled individuals
Instructions for Expedited Execution
- Mukhyamantri Anupriti Coaching Yojana: All pending application verifications must be completed within three days.
- Social Security Pensions: Officials must ensure 100% verification of remaining cases through OTP-based and app-based verification at the gram panchayat level.
- Upcoming Events: Preparations for the Chintan Shivir (April 7-8, Dehradun) and Ambedkar Jayanti programs (April 14) must be completed on priority.
