Agarwal Community Always at the Forefront of Humanitarian Service and Generosity: CM Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated a newly constructed 200-seater auditorium at the Chhattisgarhi Agarwal Bhavan in Raipur during a felicitation and oath-taking ceremony organized on the occasion of “Day of Generosity” by the Chhattisgarhi Agarwal community. He also honored key donors for their contributions.

Praising the Agarwal community, CM Sai said they have always been at the forefront of humanitarian service and generosity. Their deep-rooted presence in Chhattisgarh, dating back nearly 400 years, has significantly contributed to the state’s development. Known for their hard work and dedication in trade and commerce, the community has continually engaged in social welfare, including commendable efforts during the COVID-19 crisis.

Highlighting various contributions, CM Sai mentioned donor-supported projects like DKS Hospital, AIIMS, Sheetalbanda Lake, and the donation of 1,900 acres of land for the Agriculture University. He also noted the construction of dharamshalas, temples, ponds, and gaushalas by the community that have benefited people across all sections of society.

He emphasized that the service works carried out by the Agarwal community across Chhattisgarh – in fields like education, health, women’s welfare, and employment – serve as an inspiration to all. Their role is vital in achieving the vision of a developed India and a developed Chhattisgarh by 2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Chief Minister administered the oath to newly elected office bearers and honored major donor families. The event also saw addresses by Raipur South MLA Sunil Soni, and the presence of dignitaries like MLA Purandar Mishra, Mayor Meenal Chaubey, Sanjay Srivastava, and Anurag Agarwal, along with a large number of community members.
