Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav Administers Oath of Allegiance to the Indian Constitution to Professors and Students

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that today is a very significant day, as it marks the birth anniversary of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the Chairman of the Drafting Committee of the Indian Constituent Assembly, who played a pivotal role in the making of the Indian Constitution.

Dr. Yadav emphasized that India did not attain independence in a single day. It was the result of years of relentless struggle. From Prithviraj Chauhan and Maharana Pratap to Chhatrapati Shivaji and countless revolutionaries, many sacrificed everything to free the nation from centuries of colonial bondage. India’s struggle for freedom spans over a thousand years.

The Chief Minister was addressing a public oath-taking ceremony at Ravindra Natya Grah, Indore, on Monday, held to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar and the completion of 75 years of the Indian Constituent Assembly. The event was chaired by Minister for Urban Development and Housing Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav administered an oath to the students present at the event, affirming their commitment to upholding the democratic traditions of the Indian Constitution and preserving the unity and integrity of the nation. The students raised slogans of “Mera Samvidhan – Mera Bharat” (My Constitution – My India).

Dr. Yadav also engaged in an interactive dialogue with students and professors on the subject of the Constitution.

The ceremony was attended by Water Resources Minister Shri Tulsiram Silawat, Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav, Dr. Mahendra Singh, MLAs Shri Madhu Verma and Shri Ramesh Mendola, Shri Akshay Kanti Bam, Shri Sumit Mishra, Shri Narendra Saluja, and a large number of distinguished citizens.
