Appeal to Contact ‘State Disaster Management’ Helpline for Tourists Stranded in Jammu & KashmirHelpline Number: 022-22027990

Mumbai : In light of the cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, an appeal has been made for Maharashtra tourists stranded in different parts of Jammu & Kashmir and their families to contact the Maharashtra State Disaster Management Cell at Mantralaya via the helpline number 022-22027990 for assistance.

In the wake of this tragic incident, the Disaster Management Cell at Mantralaya is operating 24×7. The mortal remains of the tourists who lost their lives in the attack are scheduled to arrive in Mumbai from Srinagar today. The bodies of the deceased from Maharashtra and Gujarat will be flown to Mumbai Airport this afternoon and will then be transported to their respective hometowns by ambulance. The Maharashtra state government is extending all necessary assistance for this process.

Tourists stranded in Kashmir and their family members in Maharashtra are requested to contact the helpline number 022-22027990 for any help, as communicated by the State Disaster Management Cell.
