Maximum relative humidity over coastal districts likely to be 80-90% and over interior districts about 75-85% and Minimum relative humidity is likely to be 55-65% over coastal districts and 40-50% over interior districts.

Past 24 hours observed significant weather:

A Squall passed over Alipore (Kolkata) with maximum wind speed of 62 kmph and over Dum Dum

(North 24 Parganas) with maximum wind speed of 46 kmph. Gusty winds prevailed over Kolkata, Howrah, East Midnapore, Nadia, Purulia, Murshidabad, North & South 24 Parganas, Malda districts with wind speed between 40-63 kmph. Heat wave conditions prevailed at one or two places over West Burdwan district.
