Immediate action will be taken to address the expectations and issues of government employees : Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that all government employees in the state will receive a 3 percent increase in dearness allowance effective from July 1, 2024, and an additional 2 percent increase from January 1, 2025. He stated that, with these revisions, state government employees will now receive 55 percent dearness allowance, aligning them with the employees of the Central Government. The arrears resulting from this increase will be disbursed in five equal installments between June 2025 and October 2025. Dr. Yadav was addressing the provincial conference organized by the Madhya Pradesh Gazetted Officers Association at Narmada Bhawan, Bhopal. The Chief Minister inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp and was warmly welcomed with a grand garland, a shawl, a coconut, and a memento. Regional MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani was also specially present at the event.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the hard work and dedication of government employees have significantly contributed to steering the state towards a brighter future. He emphasized that ensuring the happiness and securing the future of employees remains a top priority for the state government. Highlighting the role of gazetted officers, he stated that they serve as growth engines, ensuring that government services and welfare schemes effectively reach beneficiaries. Their commitment, diligence, and sensitivity form the foundation of good governance in the state.Dr. Yadav noted that the successful implementation of government schemes plays a vital role in realizing the government’s vision of public welfare by reaching the last person standing in society. He reiterated the state government’s commitment to making every possible effort to enhance the working conditions and future prospects of its employees. Expressing confidence, he said that both the government and administration will remain steadfast in their dedication to building a developed Madhya Pradesh in line with the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.The Chief Minister also assured that efforts are underway to resolve the long-pending issue of promotions, which have been stalled since 2016. Additionally, he stated that steps will soon be taken to address other expectations and concerns of government officers and employees. Dr. Yadav added that arrangements are being made for the expedited filling of vacant posts across all departments.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the successful organization of the Global Investors Summit in Bhopal was a major achievement for the state. He emphasized that the state government is committed to ensuring that Bhopal not only showcases the glorious past of Madhya Pradesh but also reflects its rich cultural heritage. To honor great historical figures, gates dedicated to eminent personalities will be constructed at all major entry points to the capital. As part of this initiative, the groundbreaking ceremony for a gate dedicated to Raja Bhoj will be held soon. Additionally, a gate honoring Emperor Vikramaditya, a symbol of exemplary governance, will be constructed on the road connecting the capital to Avantika.Addressing the recent terrorist incident in Pahalgam, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav expressed deep sorrow and assured that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the country will deliver the strongest and most decisive response to the perpetrators and conspirators behind the attack.
