India’s identity is rooted in the Indus Valley Civilization: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the identity of our nation is deeply rooted in the Indus Valley Civilization and the Indus River. He remarked that the ancient Indus Valley Civilization continues to be a source of pride for the entire country. Highlighting historical inspiration, he praised Emperor Dahir Sen’s valiant struggle to protect his religion and culture, which still motivates and instills courage in us today. Dr. Yadav added that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi remains steadfastly dedicated to the protection of the nation, its religion, and its culture.Speaking about Bhopal, Dr. Yadav described it as the sacred land of Saint Hirdaram, emphasizing the saint tradition’s principle of “live and let live” and its spirit of universal compassion. He lauded the Sindhi community for their sacrifices in protecting their religion and culture — leaving behind their homes, families, and businesses — and for their resilience in rebuilding their lives through hard work and self-confidence.Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Cheti Chand Mahotsav and Pratibha Samman ceremony organized at Sindhu Bhawan. The program was presided over by MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani, and officials of the Madhya Pradesh Sindhu Bhawan Trust were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that through their capabilities and continuous hard work, the Sindhi community has achieved remarkable success in the fields of business and industry. He emphasized that the state government is fully committed to promoting industrial activities and fostering entrepreneurship at the local level, with concerted efforts being made in this direction. Policies and procedures for establishing industries and conducting business activities have been simplified and streamlined to facilitate ease of doing business.Dr. Yadav further stated that industries are being actively encouraged to enhance employment opportunities across the state, recognizing trade and industry as vital engines for job creation. Investment invitations are also being extended to industrialists and entrepreneurs from other states and abroad.Appealing to the Sindhi community, the Chief Minister urged them to take the initiative in expanding trade and industrial activities within Madhya Pradesh, assuring that the state government is ready to provide full support and cooperation in these efforts.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav was urged by MLA Shri Bhagwan Das Sabnani to consider including the inspiring stories of Raja Dahir Sen, Sant Kanwar Das, and Martyr Hemu Kalani in the school curriculum. He also requested the installation of statues of Martyr Hemu Kalani in cities with a significant Sindhi population, the allocation of land for the establishment of a Sindhi Museum, and an increase in the budget of the Sindhi Academy to further promote the community’s rich cultural heritage.
