between 3.1 Kms & 7.6 Kms above mean sea level. Due to favourable wind pattern & moisture incursion from Bay of Bengal, moderate to severe thunderstorm activity likely over the districts of West Bengal.
Past 24 hours observed significant weather: Very Light to Moderate rainfall occurred at many places over Gangetic West Bengal. Light Rainfall occurred at a few places over Sub Himalayan West Bengal. Gusty winds reported in the range of 30-40 Kmph at one or two places over districts of West Bengal.
