TN CM Stalin Announces Arrangements for Support of Indian Army Procession

In support of the Indian Army, various facilities have been arranged for the public in the ongoing procession.

  • 10 medical camps at different locations.
  • 200 shelters at various points.
  • 71 drinking water stations.
  • 50 sanitation facilities.
  • 15 ambulances.

These arrangements have been made for the immediate convenience of the public. The public attending the procession is requested to ensure proper water supply and be vigilant.

Against Pakistan’s aggressions and terrorism, the Indian Army has been providing valorous support, and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr. M. K. Stalin has extended his solidarity and support to them. The procession will be held with great reverence along the coastal route, as announced by the Chief Minister.

In the announcement, Chief Minister Mr. M. K. Stalin informed that today (10.5.2025) at 5:00 PM, the procession would start from the Director of Police Office near Pazhaman Kadarkamar, where former freedom fighters, dignitaries, and the public including students and citizens will participate.

For the welfare of the public attending the procession, special facilities have been provided as per the instructions of the Chief Minister. Following are the arrangements:

  1. Shelters: Temporary shelters have been set up at 200 places along the procession route.
  2. Sanitation Facilities: Mobile toilets have been arranged at 10 places with 50 units ready at these locations.
  3. Drinking Water Facilities: Water distribution has been arranged through 3,000-liter tanks at 45 places, 1,000-liter tanks at 26 places, and 17 water tankers carrying 9,000 liters each.
  4. Medical Camps: 10 medical camps have been set up along the route with medical teams. These camps are equipped with necessary medicines and emergency supplies. 30,000 ORS sachets will be available, and 15 ambulances are on standby.

The animal health division will monitor the welfare of animals such as dogs and cattle along the procession route to ensure there are no injuries.
