Toppers of Class 10 and 12 Board Exams Meet Governor Ramesh Deka

Governor Honors Meritorious Students with Medals and ₹5,000 Incentive Each

Raipur : Students who secured positions in the merit list of the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education this year met Governor Shri Ramesh Deka at the Raj Bhavan today. The meritorious students from Raipur district were congratulated and felicitated by the Governor, who presented them with medals, mementos, and an incentive amount of ₹5,000 each.

Speaking on the occasion, Governor Deka encouraged the students, saying they have a bright future ahead. He advised them to pursue their career goals with dedication and hard work. Emphasizing the importance of discipline in achieving success, he urged the students to remain disciplined, balance studies with activities like yoga, meditation, and sports, and show respect to their parents and teachers. He further encouraged them to cultivate human values, cooperation, and awareness of their surroundings to live a fulfilling life.

MLA Shri Purandar Mishra, who was also present at the event, addressed the students and encouraged them to shape their futures through education and bring pride to the state.

Governor Deka honored the following students from Class 10 who were included in the merit list: Sai Sanjana, Naman Kumar Thakur, Ketan Sahu, Khushboo Sen, Poorvi Sahu, Mehak, Ram Soni, Neha Chakradhari, Kavya Verma, Divya Tiwari, and Chitransh Dewangan.

Similarly, the Class 12 merit list students who were felicitated included Pallavi Verma, Ruchika Sahu, Kirti Yadav, Ruchi Kalyani, and Bhumika Dewangan.

The event was also attended by the Governor’s Joint Secretary Ms. Nidhi Sahu, Raipur District Education Officer Dr. Vijay Khandelwal, other education department officials, and parents of the students.
