Tiranga Rally to Honour and Thank the Indian Army – CM Devendra Fadnavis

Mumbai : In the wake of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India’s swift and decisive response through ‘Operation Sindoor’ dealt a significant blow to terrorism, said Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. To express gratitude and honour the Indian Army for their bravery, a Tiranga Rally was organized at August Kranti Maidan, he added.

Speaking at the event, CM Fadnavis stated that through ‘Operation Sindoor’, India has demonstrated its military might to the world. He remarked that Pakistan was forced to bow before India’s military strength, and emphasized that India’s defence preparedness and security apparatus are rock-solid.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also highlighted that ‘Operation Sindoor’ was India’s strong and fitting reply to the brutal attack in Pahalgam.

The rally began with CM Fadnavis, Deputy CM Shinde, and other dignitaries offering floral tributes at the memorial. They also paid homage to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Starting from August Kranti Maidan, the rally concluded at Girgaon Chowpatty, where tributes were paid at the statue of martyr Tukaram Ombale. At the closing ceremony, CM Fadnavis and other participants laid a floral wreath at Ombale’s statue and paid respects at Tilak Memorial.

The rally saw large participation from citizens, including Environment Minister Pankaja Munde, Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Culture Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar, along with several MLAs and local representatives from Mumbai.
