Full Support for Development of Shri Kshetra Parli Vaijnath Pilgrimage Site – Deputy CM Ajit Pawar

Deputy CM Visits Lord Vaijnath Temple

Parli Thermal Power Station Reviewed

Beed – Deputy Chief Minister and Guardian Minister of the district, Ajit Pawar, visited the revered Lord Vaijnath temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, and offered traditional prayers today. He also inspected ongoing works under the pilgrimage site development plan around the temple and later chaired a review meeting at the government rest house. Assuring full financial support, Pawar emphasized that no shortage of funds would be allowed for the Shri Kshetra Parli Vaijnath Jyotirling development plan and stressed that all works must be of high quality and standard.

Present during the visit were Environment Minister Pankaja Munde, MLAs Dhananjay Munde and Vikram Kale, Deputy CM’s Secretary Rajesh Deshmukh, Beed District Collector Vivek Johnson, and other officials.

Pawar stated that providing top-notch facilities to devotees visiting Lord Vaijnath is a priority, and the works must reflect quality and excellence. He directed that everyone involved should pay close attention to the quality of construction. Cleanliness, neatness, and the construction of a well-equipped Darshan Mandap (prayer pavilion) in the temple premises should match the standards of other major pilgrimage sites like Balaji, Shirdi, and Pandharpur. He reassured that the state government would extend full support and ensure that devotees are provided with all essential amenities.

Plans are underway for a light and sound laser show on the rear side of the temple. Pawar insisted that the duration of the show, its content for devotees, and the services provided must be of high quality.

District Collector Vivek Johnson mentioned that 92 new works under the Shri Kshetra Parli development plan have received administrative approval. A presentation on the proposed developments was made during the meeting. These works, amounting to ₹286.68 crore, include the construction of a Darshan Mandap, area development, stone flooring around the temple, architectural entrance gate, internal electrification, installation of solar lights, garden development, boundary wall construction, and vehicle parking. Chief Architect Krishnakumar Bangad provided detailed information on these works.

Deputy CM Reviews Parli Thermal Power Station

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar also reviewed the ongoing works at the Parli Thermal Power Station. The meeting held at the government rest house was attended by Environment Minister Pankaja Munde, MLAs Dhananjay Munde, and Vikram Kale.

Chief Engineer Sunil Ingle of the Thermal Power Station gave a presentation on the current status. Key topics included the approval and construction of the proposed Unit No. 1, sanctioning of a solar energy project, measures to address ash pollution, renovation of the rest house at the thermal power station, establishment of an independent police station in the thermal area, afforestation in the colony area, and overall development of the solar project. Pawar assured that the government would extend full support in resolving issues concerning the thermal power station.

Also present were Sub-Divisional Officer Arvind Latkar, Tehsildar Venkatesh Munde, and Municipal Chief Officer Trimbak Kamble.
