Operation Sindoor symbolizes India’s Pride, honor of sindoor worn by Indian women, and guarantee of safety for coming generations: CM Yogi
Lucknow : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Operation Sindoor is a symbol of India’s pride, the honor of the sindoor worn by the women of the nation, and a guarantee of safety for the coming generations.
He added that India has taken a bold step to protect its honor—just as Prime Minister Narendra Modi had assured the people of the country.

The CM was addressing the 25th anniversary celebration of Dr. KNS Memorial Hospital (formerly Mayo Hospital) on Tuesday in presence of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. He said, “Under the leadership of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, India’s brave soldiers showed great courage and strength by successfully carrying out Operation Sindoor and giving a strong reply to the enemy, Pakistan.”
CM Yogi mentioned that Mayo Hospital and Dr. KNS Memorial Hospital have completed a journey of 25 years today. The foundation of this hospital was laid in the year 2000 by the then Chief Minister and the current Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh.
“Today, this hospital is moving forward with a new identity — as a hospital in the capital (Lucknow) and a medical college in Barabanki. It is providing health services to the people of the state and contributing to the development of Uttar Pradesh,” he added.
The CM said that this is the path and culture of progress in life. When the seed of an idea becomes a tree, it represents culture. But if the seed rots and ends, it is distortion. India is a symbol of such a culture that always becomes a guide for humanity and remains a ray of hope for the world. On the other hand, he mentioned, Pakistan is destined for distortion — to die and rot — whether at the hands of India or through the acts of the terrorists it has nurtured and supported.
CM Yogi further said that at present, healthcare services are going through a phase of intense competition. To establish oneself in this competition, it is necessary to give the highest priority to service. Because if there is no sensitivity in this field, then the trust that people have in doctors may weaken. “That trust must not be shaken,” he remarked.
Further speaking at the 25th anniversary celebration, the CM praised the institution for its contributions to healthcare stating that in its excellent 25-year journey, this institute has not only worked as a hospital but has also contributed to the state’s development as a medical institute.
“Today, hundreds of students are taking admission here to pursue UG, PG, and super-specialty degrees, and they are also working towards the goal of good health. In the future as well, the medical institute will continue to contribute to the development of the state and help citizens achieve good health,” he added.
On this occasion, Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Minister JPS Rathore, Rajya Sabha member and former Deputy CM Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Rajya Sabha member Himanshu Trivedi, Legislative Council member Mukesh Sharma, Mayor Sushma Kharkwal, Dr. Neeraj Bora, BJP leader Neeraj Singh, and several others were present.
