Chief Minister held a meeting with officers of Balod, Narayanpur, and Kanker districts
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today held a meeting with officers of Balod, Narayanpur, and Kanker districts at the joint district office auditorium in Balod under the ‘Good Governance Fortnight’ (Sushasan Tihar). He conducted an in-depth review of the current status of implementation of government schemes. On this occasion, the Chief Minister urged all officers to work with dedication and responsibility and actively participate in realizing the vision of a developed Chhattisgarh.
Shri Sai said that under the third phase of Sushasan Tihar, continuous inspections and meetings with officials are being held across various regions of the state to evaluate the real progress of the schemes. He mentioned that the positive feedback received from the general public is proof that the benefits of the government’s work over the past one and a half years have reached even the last person in society.
The Chief Minister linked cleanliness with public participation and instructed officers to show special interest in cleanliness activities and ensure the prompt disposal of cleanliness-related applications received during Sushasan Tihar. He noted that the positive impact of the Swachh Bharat Mission, initiated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, is visible throughout the state.
The Chief Minister directed the officers to regularly visit sites to inspect construction and development works and to promptly resolve public grievances. He emphasized the need to motivate farmers to adopt crop rotation. Instructions were given to devise necessary strategies to promote sugarcane in Balod district and pulses and oilseeds in Kanker and Narayanpur districts.
Stressing the resolution of revenue matters, the Chief Minister said that unnecessary delays cause dissatisfaction among the public. He instructed regular scheduling of revenue court dates at district and tehsil levels and timely disposal of all pending cases. Revenue officers were also directed to complete demarcation work before the rainy season. The Chief Minister gave instructions to promote livelihood activities, focus specially on the Drone Didi program, and complete infrastructure development works with quality within the stipulated time.
Instructions were given to promptly resolve applications related to income, caste, and residence certificates and to organize special camps, especially to provide necessary certificates to students.
Shri Vishnudev Sai expressed dissatisfaction with the examination results of Balod district and directed immediate corrective measures. He emphasized the need for 100% implementation of centrally sponsored schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, Har Ghar Jal, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, and Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also shared information about a high-voltage substation (400/220/132 KV) being established at Devari and Dondilohara in Balod district at a cost of Rs. 500 crore, and the construction of the Junwani to Chikhli road at a cost of Rs. 11.47 crore.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Shri Subodh Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary Dr. Basvaraju S., Commissioner of Durg Division Shri Satyanarayan Rathore, Commissioner of Bastar Division Shri Doman Singh, Balod Collector Ms. Divya Umesh Mishra, Kanker Collector Shri Nilesh Kshirsagar, Narayanpur Collector Ms. Pratishtha Mamgai, respective district Superintendents of Police, and other senior officials.
