Chief Minister Sai Visits Shabari Emporium in the Craft City of Kondagaon
Appreciates Bell Metal Artworks
Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai visited the Shabari Emporium during his tour of the renowned craft city of Kondagaon today. He observed and appreciated the exquisite artworks made from bell metal, wrought iron, bamboo, and wood — all reflecting the rich tribal lifestyle and cultural heritage of Bastar.
During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with artisans and inquired about the process of crafting these traditional pieces, particularly bell metal items, as well as their marketing and sales strategies. As a gesture of respect, the artisans presented the Chief Minister with a bell metal artwork.
Present at the occasion were Bastar MP Shri Mahesh Kashyap, Keshkal MLA Shri Neelkanth Tekam, Municipal Council President Shri Narpati Patel, Vice President Shri Jasketu Usendi, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Subodh Singh, Secretary Dr. Basav Raju, Commissioner Shri Doman Singh, Inspector General of Police Shri Sundarraj P., Collector Smt. Nupur Rashi Panna, Superintendent of Police Shri Y. Akshay Kumar, former MLA Shri Sevkaram Netam, along with several public representatives and senior district administration officials.
