CM Devendra Fadnavis Releases ‘Lokrajya’ Special Issue on Ahilyadevi Holkar’s 300th Birth Anniversary
Ahalyanagar – To mark the 300th birth anniversary of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today released a special commemorative issue of Lokrajya magazine dedicated to her life and legacy.
The release ceremony was held at Chaundi during the grand celebrations of Ahilyadevi Holkar’s tercentenary. The event was graced by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra Legislative Council Chairman Prof. Ram Shinde, Minister of Water Resources and Guardian Minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Dattatray Bharane, Minister for OBC Welfare Atul Save, and several MLAs including Gopichand Padalkar, Vitthalrao Langhe, Babasaheb Deshmukh, Shivaji Kardile, Narayan Patil, Amol Khatal, Chitra Wagh, Kashinath Date, Monika Rajale, Suresh Dhas, as well as former MLAs Annasaheb Dange and Ramesh Shendge, Prof. Laxman Hake, District Collector Dr. Pankaj Ashiya, and ZP CEO Anand Bhandari.
The special issue was developed under the guidance of Principal Secretary and Director General of Information & Public Relations, and Lokrajya Editor-in-Chief, Brijesh Singh. The cover features the emblem designed for Ahilyadevi’s tercentenary. The issue includes in-depth articles on her devout life, visionary governance, philanthropy, social service, and architectural contributions across India.
Essays penned by the Chief Minister, Deputy CM, and other dignitaries offer insights into her enduring influence. The issue also highlights major initiatives launched by the government to mark the occasion, including the Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar Women’s Startup Scheme.
