District Panchayat CEO Inspects Houses Under Construction Under PM Awas Yojana

Rajnandgaon : The Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat, Ms. Suruchi Singh, conducted a surprise inspection of houses under construction in Tornkatta and Manki villages of Rajnandgaon Development Block and Kirgi B village of Dongargaon Development Block under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin. She also carried out plantation near the housing sites during the visit.

Ms. Singh interacted with beneficiaries and provided necessary guidance on housing construction, labor payments, availability of centering plates, and construction materials. She emphasized the importance of speeding up construction work and instructed that quality housing should be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Present during the inspection were the Janpad Panchayat CEO, Assistant Project Officer of the District Panchayat, District and Block Coordinators of the PM Awas Yojana, technical assistants, housing nodal officers, Sarpanch and Secretary of the Gram Panchayat, Awas Mitras, and local villagers.
