Applications Invited for Government Hostels in Worli

Mumbai : The admission process for government hostels in Worli under the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Social Welfare, Mumbai City District, will begin from June 15, 2025. Applications are invited for admission to the Government Hostel for Backward Class Boys, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Government Hostel for Boys, and the Sant Mirabai Government Hostel for Girls. This announcement was made via a press release by Assistant Commissioner of Social Welfare, Sunita Mate.

For the academic year 2025–26, students wishing to apply for these hostels can submit their applications through the official portal https://hmas.mahait.org, starting from June 15, 2025. The press release urged all students who wish to seek admission to the government hostels in Worli, Mumbai City District, to complete their applications online via the mentioned portal.
