Resolve Educational Issues Through Dialogue Between Parents and Teachers – Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha’s Directive to Education Officers
Mumbai : Maharashtra’s Minister for Skills, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Mangalprabhat Lodha, has directed education officers to promptly establish Parent Associations in municipal schools and resolve educational issues through dialogue between teachers and parents. The minister was speaking at a School Enrollment Festival held with great enthusiasm at the Kavale Math Municipal School in Walkeshwar, where he was the chief guest.
Minister Lodha welcomed students by presenting them with educational kits and roses. The event was organized as part of the School Enrollment Festival to make the first day of school memorable for students and to instill in them a strong attachment to their school.
On this occasion, Minister Lodha also engaged in dialogue with the parents and listened to their suggestions. He emphasized the importance of organizing monthly meetings between the Parent Association and teachers, expressing confidence that many issues could be resolved through these discussions.
Highlighting Maharashtra’s rich heritage, Minister Lodha instructed education officers to organize monthly awareness programs in schools to educate students about the lives and contributions of great personalities such as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar, Krantijyoti Savitribai Phule, Swatantryaveer Savarkar, and Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar.
Education Officer Rajesh Kankal informed that, thanks to Minister Lodha’s efforts, select ITI (Industrial Training Institute) trades have been introduced in municipal schools. He also expressed strong confidence that the Skill Development Minister would continue working towards building a brighter future for students.
The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Manish Valanju, Kavale Math School Administrative Head Mrs. Sayali Patil, and senior officials from the BMC’s D Ward.
