IDEF 2025 Defence Event at the Strategic Crossroads of Eurasia.

IDEF 2025, the 17th edition of the International Defence Industry Fair, will take place from July 22 to 27, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Centre. IDEF is a major defence industry exhibition, considered the biggest in the Eurasian region and one of the top four globally. It serves as a platform to showcase advancements and products in the defence industry, including naval, air, and land systems, military equipment, and defence electronics.

Held every two years since 1993, IDEF has established itself as one of the most prominent international exhibitions dedicated to defence technologies. The 2025 edition is organized by KFA Fairs under the authority of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, with the support of the Ministry of National Defence of Türkiye and the Presidency of Defence Industries. IDEF 2025 will span four locations in Istanbul, including the Expo Center, Atatürk Airport, the WOW Hotel Congress Center, and Ataköy Marina, offering a comprehensive overview of defence capabilities across land, air, sea, space, and cyber domains.

The previous edition, IDEF 2023, hosted 1,461 exhibitors from 55 countries, welcomed over 94,000 professional visitors, and received 187 official delegations. This year’s event is expected to attract even broader international attention, reinforcing Turkiye’s position as a key player in regional and global defence dynamics. IDEF 2025 represents a key opportunity for international cooperation in defence and security.
