Education Officers Must Remain Committed to Academic Excellence — Education & Panchayati Raj Minister
Widespread Instructions Issued for the “Hariyalo Rajasthan” Campaign: Each Student to Plant 10 Saplings Daily for a Month; Officials and Staff to Plant 15 Saplings Daily
Jaipur : Education (School/Sanskrit) and Panchayati Raj Minister Shri Madan Dilawar conducted a review meeting on Wednesday at the Circuit House in Churu district headquarters. The meeting focused on the district’s educational progress, Panchayati Raj development works, and preparations for the “Hariyalo Rajasthan” campaign. Minister Dilawar issued clear instructions to officials for effective implementation.
He emphasized that education officers must remain firmly committed to the goal of academic advancement. Teaching standards in schools should be maintained at the highest level, and efforts for consistent improvement must be based on a thorough analysis of the previous academic session’s results.
Minister Dilawar called for a robust strategy to improve academic performance, stressing the need to ensure quality education and continuous monitoring of educational standards.
Addressing the “Hariyalo Rajasthan” campaign, the Minister highlighted the importance of large-scale tree plantation and called for active participation at the gram panchayat level. He instructed that plantations must meet targets set for each panchayat and that responsibilities for their regular upkeep should be clearly assigned.
He announced that during the mass plantation drive, each student will plant at least 10 saplings daily for one month. Additionally, officers and employees of the Panchayati Raj and Education Departments will plant 15 saplings each day and ensure their proper maintenance.
Churu CEO Shweta Kochar informed that targets for plantation have been allocated and officers-in-charge have been appointed. She also mentioned that pastureland development activities are underway in the district.
Present at the meeting were Churu District Collector Shri Abhishek Surana, District Head Vandana Arya, Rajgarh Pradhan Smt. Vinod Devi, Shri Basant Sharma, and all Chief Block Education Officers (CBEOs).
