World-Class Panchakarma Therapy Now Available in Gorakhpur

Thanks to CM Yogi’s Vision, Ayurvedic College at Mahayogi Gorakhnath University Offers Healing at Affordable Cost
President Droupadi Murmu to Inaugurate Panchakarma Centre on July 1

Gorakhpur : World-class Panchakarma therapy, a key branch of Ayurveda known to be effective in treating several chronic illnesses, is now being offered in Gorakhpur. At the Panchakarma Centre of the Ayurvedic College in Mahayogi Gorakhnath University (MGUG), patients are receiving high-quality treatment at cost-effective rates. The centre will be formally inaugurated on July 1 by the Hon’ble President of India, Droupadi Murmu.

Earlier, Panchakarma treatment was limited to a few local facilities. This centre, developed under the guidance of CM Yogi Adityanath—also the Chancellor of MGUG—has been designed to offer world-class care that rivals even leading centres in South India. The new facility includes 11 cottages, separate male and female therapy rooms, preparation areas, and two consultation rooms.

What is Panchakarma?
Panchakarma is a cornerstone of Ayurvedic science, offering holistic detox and rejuvenation for the mind, body, and consciousness. It eliminates toxins, restores balance, strengthens immunity, and alleviates stress. It is also known for targeting the root causes of disease.

Treatments & Patient Response
Dr. Sridhar, the centre’s in-charge, notes that Panchakarma treatments like Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya, and Raktamokshana are being used to treat conditions such as neurological disorders, obesity, asthma, arthritis, sciatica, cervical spondylitis, skin diseases, stress, stroke, spinal issues, thyroid, diabetes, shoulder pain, uric acid buildup, and infertility. Patients from across eastern Uttar Pradesh and even other states are seeking treatment here.

Hope for Chronic Conditions
The centre conducts around 50 Panchakarma procedures daily. Patients who had lost hope even after visiting top hospitals are finding relief. For instance, Akanksha from Kanpur, who suffered for 13 years from the painful condition Trigeminal Neuralgia, experienced significant relief after 15 days of Panchakarma therapy—avoiding the surgery she had feared. Likewise, Ramkrishna Prajapati’s wife found relief from severe back pain within a week of treatment. Other patients, like Ranjoo Devi from Lucknow (cervical spondylitis) and Ajharunnisha (arthritis), also reported positive outcomes.

This Panchakarma Centre is fast emerging as a hub of holistic healing, offering modern infrastructure with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda.
