Sheikh Shakhbut Attends Graduation of 664 Students from Emirates National Schools

Ceremonies in Abu Dhabi, MBZ City, and Al Ain Highlight UAE’s Commitment to World-Class Education

Abu Dhabi: His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbut bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, attended the graduation ceremony of the 18th batch of students from Emirates National Schools (ENS), under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and President of the Presidential Court. The ceremony, held in Abu Dhabi, honoured 664 graduating students from campuses in Abu Dhabi City, Mohammed bin Zayed City, and Al Ain.

The event celebrated ENS’s continued excellence as a premier educational institution. A short documentary film was screened, reflecting the schools’ journey, achievements, and contribution to academic excellence both locally and internationally.

Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed Mohammed Al Hamiri, Secretary-General of the Presidential Court and Chairman of the ENS Board, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for his steadfast commitment to the education sector. He also thanked Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed for his generous patronage, which has helped establish Emirates National Schools as a national benchmark in modern education.

Al Hamiri emphasized that this support has cultivated a generation rooted in national values, while also being equipped for the evolving demands of a knowledge-driven global landscape. He highlighted recent strides made by the schools, including the creation of technical and vocational training centres and the introduction of new scholarship opportunities.

He further pointed to the development of a world-class learning environment backed by internationally trained faculty, modern infrastructure, and active involvement of parents and local community organisations.

The ceremony was attended by several senior dignitaries including Ahmed Juma Al Zaabi, Advisor to the UAE President, and Mohammed Abdullah Al Junaibi, Chairman of the Federal Authority for Protocol and Strategic Narrative, along with other top officials, reflecting the importance of education as a pillar of national progress.
