Schools Regain Their Vibrance Through Rationalisation Policy ; Classrooms Once Again Echo with Hindi, English Lessons and Math Problems

Once Single-Teacher and Later Teacherless, This School Has Now Become a Thriving Hub of Education

Raipur : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh government’s Rationalisation Policy has breathed new life into schools in remote rural areas. A shining example of this transformation is the Primary School in Pakargaon, located in the Lailunga block of Raigarh district, which has gone from being teacherless to a thriving centre of learning.

For four years, the school was managed by a single teacher. Later, due to the teacher’s transfer, the school was left completely without staff, severely affecting the education of children. Parents grew increasingly concerned about their children’s futures, and many students even stopped attending school.

Thanks to the government’s rationalisation initiative, the Pakargaon Primary School has now been allocated two teachers. Their regular presence has rejuvenated school activities. Students are once again receiving structured instruction in Hindi, English, and Mathematics. The classrooms now echo with pronunciations of English words, recitations of Hindi texts, and math tables and problems, marking a vibrant return of academic life.

The transformation has sparked enthusiasm among both students and parents. With regular classes being conducted, parents are now eager to send their children to school. Villagers see this revival as a new beginning for the community.

Mr. Trinath Satpathy, President of the Pakargaon School Management Committee, praised the initiative, stating that due to rationalisation, children in the village are once again receiving quality education. He added that the appointment of two teachers has strengthened the educational environment, turning the school into a true centre of knowledge. On behalf of the villagers, he expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and the state administration.

Through rationalisation, not only have teacherless schools found new support, but the policy has also significantly improved the reach and quality of education in rural areas, taking it to new heights.
