State Review Mission — Principal Secretary Gayatri Rathore Inspects Health Centers in Udaipur, State Teams Conduct Extensive Hospital Visits
Jaipur : Under the State Review Mission, Principal Secretary of the Department of Medical and Health, Mrs. Gayatri Rathore, visited Udaipur along with 10 state-level teams to inspect health institutions in the district. On Friday, the Principal Secretary conducted detailed inspections of various medical facilities, while other state-level teams carried out evaluations at different locations based on a pre-defined checklist.
Mrs. Rathore visited the Community Health Center (CHC) at Nai, accompanied by Udaipur Division Joint Director Dr. Prakash Chandra Sharma, Deputy Director Dr. Pankaj Gaur, Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) Dr. Ashok Aditya, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vikram Singh, RCHO Dr. Rakesh Gupta, and DPM Sadaqat Ahmed.
CHC Nai’s Medical Officer-in-Charge Dr. Meetha Lal Meena welcomed the team and facilitated the inspection. The Principal Secretary reviewed the OPD, DDC, general ward, maternity ward, and operation theater, and appreciated the cleanliness of the labor room and hospital premises. She also interacted with patients and inquired about their awareness of the government’s flagship health schemes, including the Free Medicine Scheme and Free Diagnostic Services.
CMHO Dr. Ashok Aditya informed that following this, Mrs. Rathore visited the Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Center in Magwas, Jhadol, where she held discussions with the CHOs and ANMs regarding the implementation of various government health schemes. She emphasized the importance of ensuring that these benefits reach the general public.
During the inspection of the Community Health Center in Phalasia, Mrs. Rathore expressed satisfaction with the facility’s operations. However, at the CHC in Kotda, she showed displeasure over cleanliness issues and mismanagement, and instructed immediate corrective action.
Review Meeting Scheduled for 5 July
Dr. Aditya also shared that apart from the Principal Secretary’s visits, other state teams inspected facilities across different areas. A review meeting on these inspections will be held on Saturday, 5 July, at the Zila Parishad auditorium, where district and block-level officers will participate and discuss findings and recommendations.
