Late Sanjay Deshmukh Remembered with Tributes at Mantralaya

Mumbai: A heartfelt tribute was paid at Mantralaya today to Sanjay Deshmukh, Senior Assistant Director at the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations and Public Relations Officer to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, who passed away on Saturday (July 12) at the age of 55 due to a massive heart attack.

Officers and staff of the Directorate General of Information and Public Relations (DGIPR) gathered to honor the memory of their colleague. Among those present were Principal Secretary and Director General Brijesh Singh, Directors Hemraj Bagul, Kishor Gangurde, and Dr. Ganesh Mule, Deputy Directors Govind Ahankari and Aniruddha Ashtaputre, and Assistant Director Santosh Todkar, who all fondly recalled Deshmukh’s dedication and service.

Sanjay Deshmukh had served as Public Relations Officer to Deputy CM Ajit Pawar for over a decade, where he played a crucial role as an effective link between the administration and the media. Colleagues remembered him as a committed, approachable, and ever-helpful officer, stating that his untimely demise is a great loss to the department.

The condolence gathering was also attended by Deputy Secretary of the General Administration Department Samruddhi Angolkar, Under Secretary Ajay Bhosale, PRO to the Chief Minister Kirti Pandey, Deputy Directors Varsha Andhale and Seema Ranalkar, and several other senior officers and staff members of DGIPR.

A moment of silence was observed in honor of the late Sanjay Deshmukh as a mark of deep respect and remembrance.
