Convert the Main Roads in Mira-Bhayandar City to Cement Concrete – CM Devendra Fadnavis Review Meeting Held on Issues Related to Mira-Bhayandar Assembly Constituency

Mumbai : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has directed officials to expedite the construction of Y-shaped flyovers connecting Kashigaon Metro Station to Kashimira Junction, and from Miragaon to Kashigaon Metro Station, as part of the metro line project. He also instructed that the main road in Mira-Bhayandar city, especially from Kashimira Junction to the railway crossing, be converted into cement concrete roads.

CM Fadnavis was speaking during a review meeting held at the Vidhan Bhavan regarding issues in the Mira-Bhayandar Assembly Constituency. Also present were Minister of State for Urban Development Madhuri Misal, Mira-Bhayandar MLA Narendra Mehta, Chief Minister’s Secretary Srikar Pardeshi, Additional Chief Secretary to Deputy CM Eknath Shinde – Asimkumar Gupta, Additional Chief Secretary of the Water Resources Department Deepak Kapoor, Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department Dr. K.H. Govindraj, MMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, Secretary of the Industries Department P. Anbalagan, Principal Secretary of the Food and Civil Supplies Department Vinita Singal, Secretary of the Energy Department Abha Shukla, and Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Commissioner Radhabinod Aribam Sharma.

The Chief Minister further stated that given the rising population in the Mira Road area, a new ration distribution office should be established. Additionally, a proposal for creating 35 new posts for setting up a sub-registrar office should be submitted. He also directed the preparation of a list of reserved land under the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation. If land reserved for schools or other public purposes is found being used for unauthorized purposes, such work should be stopped immediately, he added.

During the meeting, various issues were reviewed in detail, including:

• The Bhayandar-Dahisar Link Road,
• Bhayandar East Jaisal Park–Ghodbunder Road,
• Water supply project from Surya Dam to Mira-Bhayandar city,
• Proposed cluster development plans in Mira-Bhayandar,
• Incentives for redevelopment of dangerous buildings, and
• Transfer of vacant land belonging to the ST Corporation to the Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation’s transport department.
