Ambadas Danve Elevated the Standards of Debate in the Legislative Council – Deputy CM Ajit Pawar Farewell Ceremony Held in Honour of Ambadas Danve
Mumbai – Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated that Ambadas Danve is an Opposition Leader who elevated the quality of debate in the Legislative Council and always presented his views with calmness, clarity, and conviction.
As Ambadas Danve’s term as Leader of the Opposition in the Maharashtra Legislative Council comes to an end in August 2025, a farewell ceremony was organized in his honour in the Council. Speaking on the occasion, Deputy CM Pawar praised Danve’s contributions.
Highlighting Danve’s style of functioning, Ajit Pawar said, “Ambadas Danve has always raised important questions with precision and preparation. He is a well-informed leader who consistently maintained the decorum of the House. He effectively voiced the concerns of the common people.”
In his emotional farewell address, Danve thanked all members of the House and reflected on his tenure, saying, “I am content that I got this opportunity to be the voice of the people’s issues in the House.”
Though it was a formal farewell, the event was filled with warmth, mutual respect, and goodwill.
The ceremony was attended by Council Chairperson Prof. Ram Shinde, Deputy Chairperson Dr. Neelam Gorhe, Minister for Cultural Affairs Adv. Ashish Shelar, and several members including Uddhav Thackeray, Pravin Darekar, Adv. Anil Parab, Satej Patil, and Shashikant Shinde, all of whom expressed their sentiments on the occasion.
