Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari Inspects Vidhyadhar Nagar Area, Issues Instructions to JDA and Municipal Officials

On Friday, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari conducted an inspection in the Ambabadi area of Vidhyadhar Nagar Assembly constituency, focusing on cleanliness, waste disposal, and other civic amenities. She was accompanied by officials from the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) and the Municipal Corporation, to whom she issued necessary directives.

Diya Kumari, along with JDA Secretary Nishant Jain and other officials, visited the road adjacent to the JDA’s Justice Daulatmal Bhandari Scheme in Ambabadi. During the visit, she instructed the immediate removal of water hyacinth and filth from the Ambabadi drain. She also directed the officials to ensure a permanent sanitation mechanism and to develop an alternative route to ease movement around the drain area.

While walking from the Ambabadi culvert to the Ambabadi vegetable market, the Deputy CM instructed municipal authorities to manage and clean up the debris and waste scattered along the roadside.

She further directed the JDA’s Zonal Deputy Commissioner-2 to take immediate action to prevent encroachments within the Justice Daulatmal Bhandari Scheme and to strengthen and repair the roads in the area.

Deputy Chief Minister Kumari emphasized the government’s commitment to addressing public concerns on a priority basis. She said, “Efforts are being made to make the area clean, safe, and well-equipped. Public cooperation and suggestions are our greatest strength.”

JDA Secretary Nishant Jain, on-site, issued instructions to concerned JDA officials to ensure the implementation of the directives given by the Deputy CM.

It is noteworthy that providing better roads to city residents is a key priority for the JDA. Patch repair work is being carried out on a war footing to ensure smooth traffic flow across the city. Executive Engineers from various JDA zones are continuously undertaking patch repair work using GSB, WBM, sandbags, and the cold mix method in their respective areas.

Additionally, roads damaged due to excavation for sewer lines, PHED Bisalpur pipelines, Torrent gas lines, and drainage works are also being repaired on a priority basis. This includes not just major roads but also those severely affected by monsoon rains.
