Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Modi, major success has been achieved in Operation Sindoor, and Kargil Vijay Diwas is also an important occasion to remember the bravery of our army. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is working towards employment and self-reliance to empower every citizen. The establishment of industries for hardworking people as temples continues steadily in the state. Bhoomi poojan of a massive rail coach manufacturing unit will be held near Bhopal’s border in Raisen on August 10. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed these thoughts after listening to the 124th edition of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday along with local residents at Sheel Public School, located in Ward Number 50 of Bhopal. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also planted a banyan sapling with the local residents.

In the Mann Ki Baat programme, Prime Minister Shri Modi said, “There is a team in Bhopal named ‘Sakaratmak Soch’, it has 200 women. They not only clean but also change mindsets. Cleaning 17 parks of the city together, distributing cloth bags—every step of theirs is a message. Due to such efforts, Bhopal has now come much ahead in the cleanliness survey.” Along with this, Prime Minister Shri Modi said, “There are many such forts in Bundelkhand—Gwalior, Jhansi, Datia, Ajaygarh, Garhkundar, Chanderi. These forts are not just of bricks and stones, they are symbols of our culture. Values and pride still peek through the high walls of these forts. I urge all citizens to visit these forts, know your history, and feel pride.”

While addressing local residents gathered to listen to the Mann Ki Baat programme, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Mann Ki Baat programme by the illustrious Prime Minister Shri Modi has become an effective medium of establishing direct communication with citizens, and it provides inspirational information from across the country that contributes significantly to the path of nation-building. Whether it is bird counting happening in Kaziranga Park of Assam or the cleanliness campaign going on in Gupt Godavari, the Mann Ki Baat programme makes the entire country aware of such public initiatives.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Bhopal has made a name for itself in cleanliness rankings, and for that, the people of Bhopal deserve congratulations. The Ratapani sanctuary near Bhopal has been named after Dr. Vishnu Shridhar Wakankar; this sanctuary carries uniqueness in itself. Having a tiger sanctuary just 15 kilometers from an urban settlement is unique in the world. It is a living example of the culture of ‘live and let live’ and the coexistence of wildlife and humans. It shows that we see the whole Earth as one family and, while connecting nature with the divine, we follow the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.”

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the month of Sawan brings with it the festival of Raksha Bandhan. On this occasion, the state government has decided to give an additional amount of Rs 250 as a token gift to sisters under the Ladli Behna Yojana to celebrate the festival. This amount will be deposited in the accounts of 1 crore 29 lakh sisters in the state. The tradition of festivals present in Indian culture makes life positive and joyful while strengthening family traditions. Our culture is a mother-centric culture—we see the form of mother even in the universe. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that each day of the Sawan month should be celebrated with the spirit of Raksha Bandhan. Our festivals are symbols of social harmony and should be celebrated in this spirit. Therefore, a resolution has been taken to celebrate all festivals through the state government.
