Timely Supply of Seeds and Fertilizers Eases Farming for Young Farmer Brijpal

Raipur : Brijpal Porte, a young farmer from Ravagaon—an interior village under Jatga Panchayat in Korba district—has found renewed ease in agriculture, thanks to the timely availability of quality seeds and fertilizers. Despite owning limited land, Brijpal continues to support his family through farming, driven by hard work and a positive attitude.

As soon as the Kharif season began, Brijpal and his wife actively began preparing their fields. This year, he received high-quality seeds and essential fertilizers such as urea and DAP on time from the Jatga Cooperative Society. This timely provision helped him commence farming without delay.

Brijpal shared that he faced no difficulty in acquiring the agricultural inputs—no repeated visits to the society were needed, and there was no shortage of supplies. The cooperative ensured an adequate stock of fertilizers and seeds for all farmers in the region.

Currently, Brijpal and his wife are engaged in nurturing their paddy crop. Today, they sprayed DAP and urea in the fields to support healthy growth and enhance yield. Brijpal expressed hope for a good harvest this year. He emphasized that farming is his family’s main source of livelihood and affirmed his dedication to working hard to meet his family’s needs through a successful agricultural season.
