Implement Welfare Schemes Effectively Through Revenue Week – Guardian Minister Meghna Bordikar

Parbhani, Aug 25 : Through the observance of Revenue Week, the government’s welfare schemes should be effectively delivered to the common people, ensuring they avail the benefits of these initiatives. Let us all come together and work for the holistic development of Parbhani district, appealed Minister of State and Guardian Minister of Parbhani district, Meghna Sakore-Bordikar, while inaugurating the Revenue Week celebrations.

The program was organized by the district administration at the auditorium of Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Agricultural University on the occasion of Revenue Day. Present at the event were District Collector Raghunath Gawde, District Superintendent of Police Ravindra Singh Pardeshi, Zilla Parishad CEO Natisha Mathur, Municipal Commissioner Dhairyasheel Jadhav, Additional Collector Dr. Pratap Kale, Resident Deputy Collector Anuradha Dhalgari, Deputy Collectors Janardhan Vidhate, Anita Bhalerao, Sub-Divisional Officers Uday Singh Bhosale, Jeevraj Dapkar, Sangeeta Chavan, Shailesh Lahoti, Tehsildar Dr. Sandeep Rajapure, NIC’s Devendra Singh, along with officials and employees from the Revenue Department.

At the beginning of the event, dignitaries paid floral tributes to the portrait of Sahityaratna Annabhau Sathe on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Guardian Minister Sakore-Bordikar stated that from August 1 to 7, 2025, various public-oriented initiatives will be implemented through the Revenue Department as part of Revenue Week. She urged that this week be observed effectively in the district so that common citizens can avail benefits of various schemes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has envisioned a “Developed India by 2047,” and similarly, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has resolved to realize the dream of “Developed Maharashtra-2047.” Let us all participate in this mission and ensure that our Parbhani district leads in development alongside the nation and the state.

She emphasized that revenue department employees have a unique opportunity to serve the common people through their roles. They should utilize this opportunity to take the government’s welfare schemes to the grassroots and ensure the benefits reach the needy. She also appealed for the successful implementation of the Chief Minister’s 150-day program in the district.

On this occasion, retired officers/employees of the Revenue Department, outstanding officers and employees, as well as meritorious students, were felicitated by dignitaries.
