The government’s priority is to ensure that every affected individual receives assistance without delay, with complete transparency and compassion. The Chief Minister emphasized that this is a time for sensitivity, vigilance, and service, and that every representative and resource of the government stands with the people.
In this sequence, Cabinet Minister Swatantra Dev Singh visited Jalaun and Hamirpur districts on Sunday morning. He inspected flood-affected areas, visited relief camps, and interacted with the victims. He instructed officials to ensure that no laxity occurs at any level of relief operations and that every essential assistance reaches the needy promptly. He emphasized maintaining cleanliness, potable water, food, medical services, and electricity supply at the camps with utmost vigilance.
In Prayagraj, Cabinet Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ visited relief camps, met flood victims, and distributed relief material. He toured the flood-hit areas by boat to assess the situation and instructed officials to expedite rescue operations and ensure immediate help reaches those in need. He stressed strengthening all necessary arrangements in the relief camps.
In Etawah, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dharamveer Prajapati toured flood-affected villages. Using boats, he reached submerged areas, directly engaged with the people, and assured them of the government’s support. He meticulously reviewed arrangements for food, medical aid, drinking water, and cattle fodder in relief camps, directing officials to work with transparency and timeliness.
In Ballia, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu’ inspected embankments, availability of boats, health services, and distribution of relief materials by motorboat. He reiterated the government’s aim of delivering timely assistance to every victim.
In Jalaun, State Minister Sanjay Gangwar visited relief camps, interacted with the affected people, and distributed relief supplies. He instructed officials to ensure that medical teams work with full vigilance, take measures to prevent waterborne diseases, and guarantee that no needy person is deprived of assistance. In Varanasi South, MLA and former minister Dr. Nilkanth Tiwari personally visited flood-hit households in Konia and Rajghat areas on Sunday, delivering relief supplies by boat and on foot. He provided each family with two packages containing approximately 35 kg of food grains, tarpaulins, buckets, mugs, candles, sanitary pads, soap, Dettol, biscuits, tea, fruits, and other essentials. He also instructed continuous availability of milk, tea, fruits, electricity, cleanliness, fogging, and bleaching in camps. Local police were directed to maintain constant patrolling to prevent thefts.

He has issued clear directives that promptness, transparency, and human sensitivity must be the cornerstones of all relief efforts. The state government is committed to realizing the motto “Government to Every Victim” on the ground.
