Target Achieved for Groundbreaking of MoUs Worth ₹4.25 Lakh Crore; Chief Secretary Directs Departments to Prepare Concrete Action Plans
Jaipur, Aug 2025 – A review meeting on the implementation of MoUs signed under the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit was held on Thursday at the Secretariat, chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Sudhansh Pant.
During the meeting, the Chief Secretary directed officials of the concerned departments to maintain regular coordination with investors, work in mutual coordination to resolve pending approvals at various levels, and assist investors in bringing investment proposals to the ground on priority. He also instructed that departments with a higher number of MoUs should set up an Investor Facilitation Cell at the department level.
For investors who already have land available for project implementation but are awaiting certain approvals, all district collectors have been instructed to ensure prompt resolution of such cases in coordination with the relevant departments and investors. For MoUs where investors possess land and have secured all necessary project-level approvals, they should be encouraged to proceed to the groundbreaking stage.
Commending the collective efforts of all departments in achieving the target of groundbreaking for MoUs worth ₹4.25 lakh crore, Shri Pant stated that the investment climate in the state is positive, and there is a need to accelerate progress further.
The Chief Secretary noted that the arrival of investors in the state will bring opportunities for benefits in areas such as employment, education, and technology. This will lead to increased investment in the state and help it achieve new heights of development.
The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Skills, Employment & Entrepreneurship, Shri Sandeep Verma; Additional Chief Secretary, Higher & Technical Education, Shri Kuldeep Ranka; Principal Secretary, Industries Department, Shri Alok Gupta; Principal Secretary, Revenue Department, Shri Dinesh Kumar; Principal Secretary, Tourism Department, Shri Rajesh Kumar Yadav; and other senior officials from various departments.
